+町では保育施設の適正な運営並びに町立保育園の民営化及び統廃合を具体的に進めていくため、「北方町立保育園民営化及び統廃合計画」を令和３年３月に策定しました。<br>
+【計画の概要（町立保育園４園）】<br>
+〇民営化する町立保育園（２園）<br>
+・北方東保育園<br>
+・北方南保育園<br>
+※民営化の移行期間中は、他の園にて受け入れを行います。<br>
+〇統廃合する町立保育園（１園）<br>
+・北方中保育園<br>
+北学園に新設される町立こども園（令和５年４月１日開園）に令和９年３月末、統廃合する予定<br>
+〇継続する保育園（１園）<br>
+・北方北保育園　<br>
+当面の間、継続する予定<br>
